Anniversary gift for parents
Forty years together, told by the family they made.
For a 25th, a 40th or a golden 50th. Send one link to the kids, the grandkids and the old friends. Everyone tells a memory of the two of them out loud in two minutes, and on the day they get a board of stories and voice messages from the people who grew up around them.
The stories behind the two of them
At an anniversary dinner, someone gives a toast and everyone raises a glass. The stories that explain the marriage, like how they got through the lean years or the road trip where everything went wrong, mostly stay in people's heads. Ask each person for one memory and the family tells them.
A card everyone signs
Happy 40th!! ❤️
Love you both – Kate
Cheers to 40 more!

A Story Den anniversary board
The year the plant closed, Dad was out of work for eight months. "We had no idea until much later." Mom picked up extra shifts and he took over the kitchen, badly at first. Spaghetti four nights a week. "Nobody complained, because the two of them were laughing the whole time."

From one link to the anniversary dinner
- 1
Make the board
Put both their names as who it's for, add a line about them for Athena if you like, and pay once. You get one link for the family.
- 2
Everyone tells one memory
Kids, grandkids, old neighbours and the best man from the wedding each open the link, add their name and talk for about two minutes. Then they can leave a short voice message for the couple.
- 3
Give it to them
Every memory as an illustrated watercolour card, the best lines at the top, and all the voice messages in a row. Play it at the dinner, or send the link with your card.
Why it makes a good anniversary gift
For the couple who has everything
After forty years, there's little left they need, and nothing in a shop holds the family's stories about them.
Every generation can join
Nobody writes anything, so the aunt who doesn't text and the grandkid who can't spell yet can both tell a story.
Friends from the early days
The couple they went camping with every summer, the neighbours from their first apartment: anyone with the link can add a memory from wherever they live now.
Voices worth keeping
The voice messages stay on the board. On the next anniversary, they can press play and hear everyone again.
One payment. No subscription.
The board, its pictures and every voice message are theirs to keep.

Questions
Can the board be for both of them?
Yes. Put both names where it asks who the board is for, like "Mom and Dad" or "Linda and Joe". Athena then asks each person for a memory of the two of them.
Can it be a surprise?
Yes. They only see the board when you give them its link. Share the link for adding memories with everyone except them, because anyone with that link can see the memories so far.
Some of the family live far away. Can they join?
Yes. The link works anywhere: text it, email it or post it in the family group chat. They open it in their phone's browser, with no app and no account.
Can the grandkids add a memory?
Yes. Apart from their name, there's nothing to type. Children under 13 add theirs with a parent, who opens the link and stays with them while they talk.
How do we give it to them at the party?
Open the board on a laptop and press Play all to hear every voice message together, or send the link with your card. The link stays theirs, so they can come back to it.
Who can hear the voice recordings?
Each person's short voice message plays on the board, so anyone with the board's link can hear it. The rest of the interview recording is never played on the board. We use it to write that person's card and to improve Story Den, and we never sell it or let AI companies train on it.
What if I change my mind?
If nobody has added a memory yet, we'll refund you in full within 14 days of paying. Just email contact@storyden.io. The details are in our terms.
